About Faire
Faire is an online wholesale marketplace with the mission to empower brands and retailers to strengthen the unique character of local communities. I was part of the Retailer Order Management Pod, tasked with making it seamless for retailers to confidently order and manage inventory for their shops.
My work
In the last 4 months, I spent a lot of time on Figma audio calls with the design team cramming in design changes, indulging in the Toronto office lunches , travelling to NYC and SF offices and ... working on the retailer experience at Faire 😁
Over the past four months, I collaborated with the design team at Faire, working on improving the retailer experience. Working closely with designers and PMs, I revamped the flow through multiple rounds of user interviews, concept testing, market research, and workshops. In the end, I helped propose a new strategy that better aligns with users’ mental models.

Key Learnings
🚘
Driving large-scale strategic change
Creating a new vision by working across pods and pillars to reshape the narrative, rethink existing systems, and systematically ideate a revamp of the entire flow was a new challenge for me. This large-scale strategy project pushed me to learn how to break down a broad problem—"ordering and reordering at Faire is unideal"—into a structured H2 strategy, developing feasible, user-centric solutions.
📌
Collaboration and Ownership in Design
Collaborating closely with three designers—jumping into Figma audio sessions, jamming on ideas, and receiving feedback through weekly critiques—was an invaluable experience for me. I’m grateful for the autonomy and responsibility I was given to own my own concept while working alongside others, which helped me grow in both confidence and strategic design thinking.
